Summary of my GSoC learning outcomes

In GSoC program, I have learned the following things. 

Technology

  • Communication sources like Hangouts, Slacks, Gmail encryption emailing methods.
  • Open source maintenance: GitHub, its purpose, site publication, path of file (like This PC > New volume > DVM notes > 5th semester > poultry), Uploading a file on the internet, Finding the website link.
  • Content writing, giphy making, Readme file requirements.
  • Security and privacy protection when we use online services e.g. don’t use the full name instead use Nickname.
  • Oracle virtual box machine, its creations, Ubuntu desktop, its use, and purpose.
  • Use of commands in termination for rapid and automatic downloading and installing software.
  • Installation of python, its use and purpose.
  • Installation of Jupyter notebook (Python web library) its purpose and use.
  • Different working libraries of jupyter notebook like Numpy, pandas, and Tkinter.
  • Coding, what is coding, its purpose, and how to develop software, like I have learned to develop a snack game and calculator.
  • Solving mathematical problems using Numpy and pandas.
  • Blogging, its purpose, and use, how to give web services on computer and mobile.
  • How to customize Blogspot, create pages, and add links.
  • Typing and typing speed is increasing day by day.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Recording of presentation.
  • Sources for publication.
  • Attending webinars and conferences
  • Use of Zoom meetings, google calendar and google documents
